What do you make of the global changes we are undergoing and co-creating?

Just now an internet search on the words 'world change shift' brought up 8,470,000 results.

I haven't read all of them (ha!) but browsing confirmed my feeling that the changes happening as we breathe are being discussed in many ways.

This subject is not only the fodder of astrology or new age, but of science, technology and business.

The perspectives on it are multifaceted yet there are common themes. One site states, 'Indisputably the world is undergoing a fundamental transformational process, a global change.'

This relates to a hub,  'Aquarium: Dawning of the Age of Transformation.'

Emanate! What am I supposed to say in 2,500 characters. Take a look at my 8 hubs on Go Green, and also "Welcome to the Fifth World." That will get you started.

But a caution. Every generation for at least the last 2,000 years has thougth that great change was coming in their own generation. Yes, great changes are happening to our civilization and our climate. But many fundamentals are rolling along as the always have, too. Don't get caught up in the "end of the world" drama and fallacies.

Individually, we are too small to direct these changes. And as a global society, we are not unified enough to choose a direction. What to do?

    Love.

Sid, I read your 8th hub. I once changed the policy of a power company. 14 years later they are still recycling paper waste. My interest now is individual evolution - going beyond going green - as written in 'Dawning of the Age of Transformation.'

I'll take a look - the Go Green series is about outer expression. For me, the inner expression is "to be in harmony with Mother Earth in all that I do." It all arises from the experience of being at one with Life.

The Earth and the inhabitants of it change all the time.  Many are not taught that the continents were all one at one time and they started drifting apart.  I believe they are still doing that because what is going to stop them until they clash with them again and become one once again.  I don't think it has or we have a direct cause of the worlds doings.  This is a learning planet that was made for/by us all to learn things and the things here are to help us to do so.  We are to learn about ourselves and what we can do with our thoughts and hearts.  Each thought goes out and touches anothers thought and then there is a chain of reactions.  Everyone is not on the same page as they all have their own lessons and creations to learn about and embrace.  Some are not even that far yet.  It will never end because there are so many possiblities for each of us.  Many of us are just realizing that their thoughts do change things and create things.  Many are "kept in the dark at all costs" because they are afraid to know that they can create things or do create things and have to take self responsibility for what they are thinking and feeling.  Feelings and emotions that are put behind the thoughts will bring about what comes back to them...only they don't know that yet.  They will in time.  All this is not New Age, it is just that some aren't ready to take that responsibility for their own thoughts and actions.

Lady Guinevere, self-awareness and  -responsibility are to me the crux of the matter. Just to mention, I am not especially averse to New Age. It is no different than other mindsets in its ability to capture people and prevent living wholeness.

Spirituality and science agree on a lot of things actually when we look deep.  I believe that change is a constant everywhere, all energy is in constant motion - and since all ideas, thoughts, things, etc are energy - well, they are in constant motion and states of change and flux as well.  It's all rhythmic just as everything else in the universe.  That is an extreme nutshell version of course smile but the gist of it.

You say a lot in a nutshell!  I went to your profile and followed your writing. You have depth of insight and clear thinking. Recently I published a video hub, 'Attuned to the Rhythm of Nature.'

yes, there is an increase in public awareness, and the desire to see all people treated equally by most individuals.  But, unfortunately, money still rules our global society.  The fundamental changes that are necessary for us to move toward equality  will continue to be in slow motion as long as we, as a whole, allow greed to rule our lives.  By that statement i am not referring to individual greed, but the greedy desire of a few to control everyone else.
The basic fundamental change required  is to put common sense and realistic limits on the perimeters of greed.
This insatiable need of a few, to own the rest of us, is the basic evil that prevents all people from being able to live the lives we all desire.  When we have those few consistently overstepping their boundaries of need, things can only get worse, not better.
We need global leaders who have the desire to lead the people, not simply to succumb to the greed of the few.

      d. william, I would debate your answer. Where would the power of the few come from if the people did not give up their own power? Victim-hood mentality self-imprisons the people.  I will address this further in my answer below. Thank you for writing.

The world is in constant flux and has changed globally many times. There have been ice ages and times of great warmth. Humans have been culled to a mere handful before and will no doubt be again or maybe this time we won't bounce back and other life will again dominate.
While man seems to be the, or at least one of the, major causes today the planet will continue to go through great changes extinctions, probably including our own will go on forever, or at least until the earth is nothing more than a lifeless planet like countless others.

Borsia, yes, this question can be viewed from various angles. All perspectives are welcomed, also further dialog. Global change is on different levels. Social, environmental, cosmic. The hub 'Dawning of the Age of Transformation' is my perspective.
